EuroBlech is the world’s leading exhibition for the sheet metal working industry. Its 25th edition ended in the late fall of last year, after four successful show days. More than 56.000 visitors from around the world came to Hanover to get an overview of the latest innovations and digital technologies for sheet metal working and to invest in new manufacturing machinery. A total of 1,507 companies from 40 countries exhibited at last year’s show. One of these companies was Fronius GmbH, a partner with whom we work very closely and who is one of the leading companies in the welding industry. They introduced the Welducation Basic App at this event.
Welducation Basic is a virtual learning and training application which was developed for Fronius by us, the Research and Design Lab SimTeam. The App is also shown in our own blog post “New application for fronius international GmbH” – be sure to check that out as well. It supports virtual learning with a game function that enables users to experience welding interactively and a quiz that conveys useful information on the joining process.
If this made you curious and you want to convince yourself of the awesomeness of our app, you can download the Welducation Basic App for free via Googles Play Store or the Welducation Basic App via Apples App Store.
Or you check out the following video “Virtual welding” and see how Matthias Schnell, consultant engineer of Fronius Berlin, describes how people get carried away by this app.
