This week, the 1st year students of the Exhibition Design master programme were invited to “Admonter” Styrian wood industry and to the company AT&S in Hinterberg/Leoben.

In both tours, the individual stations of wood processing and the production of copper buttons, e.g. for pacemakers and game consoles, were examined.

At AT&S, also the Councillor for Economy of Styria, Barbara Eibinger-Miedl, was present and very pleased about the connection of these successful domestic companies with the young designers through the support of Creative Industries Styria.

This type of excursion to large companies is carried out in cooperation with Creative Industries Styria, offering our students insights into local companies and at the same time opening possible future jobs as exhibition designers.
