Quantity before quality?
Risography is a special printing method, which applies a stencil technique, in contrast to various other printing processes. Risography was developed for quick and cheap reproduction, additionally it is environmentally friendly as the ink is transferred to the paper without using chemicals or heat.
However, Risography is not a high quality printing process. If more colours are printed on the same paper, fitting irregularities due to the manuall paper feed occur. Using Risography means you have slightly imperfect final outcomes. Thats the reason why young artist and graphic designers are using this maschine for producing small editions and publications, because it makes them look special.
