This master’s thesis by Eva Brede is about manifesting ‘the salon idea’ to the public in order to increase its visibility. Therefore, a corporate design was created. The Salon Brösl originated through the interaction of professional cultural institutions. It developed into a project that discusses art and the work involved in its production.

Its contents were introduced to the public first by a manifesto which later became part of a performative lecture. Its name became linked to the ‘salon idea’ and was very well received, as were its contents which were presented at private and public events in Graz.
