In accordance with the ‘more is more’ ideology, we live in a constantly growing world of excessive supply of consumer goods, especially of food. Through this state of affairs we lose the awareness of the decisive influence of our daily diet.
Based on the knowledge that everything concerning our food is over designed—an almost antithetic staging to an absurd extent — the master’s thesis EAT ATE TEA by Alexandra Derntl presents a design concept which focuses on the relation between nature, food and design, unifying them in communication and product design.
